Her passion for architecture takes Catherine Szacka around the globe.

Architecture

A specialist in architecture, Catherine Szacka is currently undertaking – with Professor Denis Bilodeau – an exhibition and publication entitled New cultural territories: landscape, memory and space in architectural commissions in Québec (1999-2004).

Catherine holds a masters degree in Architecture from the University of Montréal, and since 2003 has been an assistant researcher at the Laboratory of the study of architecture at the University of Montréal (www.leap.umontreal.ca).

Catherine Szacka was also the technical coordinator of a 2004 conference entitled Architecture, philosophy and the imagination, and in 2001-2002, her studies took her to the Istituto Universitario de Architectuura di Venezia, in Italy. In 2004, she completed a stage at Actar, a Spanish publishing house.

Catherine Szacka has published articles on art and architecture in the daily paper La Presse, the magazine, EGO and the Budapest-based publication DT – Diplomacy and Trade.
