VIENNAFAIR 2011

PHOTOMED
The first annual Festival PhotoMed is billed as a « festival between tradition and discoveries. » This year’s Guest Country is Turkey, whose established and emerging artists will be featured throughout the event. Guest of Honor Martin Parr will present an extract from the series « playas, » photographs shot between 2006-07 in Benidorm, the first tourism center on Spain’s Mediterranean coast. The festival will feature exhibitions throughout Sanary-sur-Mer, workshops and film screenings.

ALEPPO 11th INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY FESTIVAL
This annual Aleppo event is an international photography exhibit and festival accompanied by lectures, workshops, and musical concerts. International and local artists come together to show their work and participate in the activities. This year the gathering will be held in an exciting new cultural venue, the Old Electric building, which lies in the heart of Aleppo. The event has continued to grow and make a significant contribution to the cultural life of Aleppo and Syria.

MOIS DE LA PHOTO A MONTREAL
Lucidity.
